As we start to come to the end of 2021, the team at Phone Hire thought we’d send a reminder on just how far the iPhone (and iPhone rentals) has come in the last 10 years.
Apple’s iPhone has certainly helped change the world, despite early day critics saying the concept of a device acting as a tablet, playing music and being used for calls wouldn’t take off.
Whilst Steve Jobs’ incredible, genius, vision is notorious, it was 10 years ago that the iPhone really took off for Apple. At Phone Hire, we have made renting an iPhone for short and long term phone hire a simple process for our clients. We hire iPhones and rent phones to clients across the UK and Europe.
It was October 2011 when Apple saw the potential of the iPhone and sold over 1 million iPhone 4 models in 24 hours. Now we barely remember the iPhone 4, although we probably still have some at Phone Hire! It just goes to shows how far and how quickly the iPhone has developed.
Renting an iPhone back in 2011 was an alien concept, but as Apple’s iPhone has grown, so too has our team at Phone Hire and we have rented iPhones to clients year after year. We can’t emphasise enough how incredible the new camera on the iPhone 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max is; for photography and filming alike. It is sensational. Now think 10 years from now in 2031…. Can you imagine barely being able to remember the iPhone 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max? Seems incredulous, but it could well happen. Who knows how the iPhone 23 will look or what mind-boggling capabilities it possesses, but have no doubt it will include features we simply cannot imagine today.
So as we look back 10 years to the iPhone 4, let’s not forget how incredible the new iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max models are and let’s enjoy the ride as Apple iPhones (all iPhone rentals available to hire from Phone Hire) take us into the next 10 years.
