Welcome and the team at Phone Hire hope this finds you well and looking forward to the Summer. The summer is always great, but it is also an important time when the various leaks and rumours for the new iPhone start to appear. As you know Phone Hire are the leading phone hire company in the UK and we await the new iPhone (rumoured to be the iPhone 13) with interest. Apple generally release their new iPhone range in September (around 3rd or 4th week), so we will soon find out more on the iPhone 13 range.
It is widely expected that there will be 4 models; (a mini iPhone 13, the standard iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and an iPhone 13 Pro Max). Similar to the iPhone 12 range, it is unlikely that LIDAR (Light Detecting and Ranging) scanner will be on the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13.
LIDAR will only be on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models, which is an awesome tool. LIDAR is a sensor that uses laser beams to measure distance, aiding photographers as well as Augmented Reality designers.
Phone Hire expect the iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max to have a triple-lens and for the camera to be even further enhanced than the iPhone 12 Pro / 12 Pro Max. This will be fantastic for creatives and photographers and we can assume that the new iPhone 13 range will have a moire powerful chip. Indeed, Apple are pushing to have all their new devices with their powerful Chips (similar to the M1 Chip in the Mac book Pro 13’).
Design-wise we expect the look and feel to be similar to the iPhone 12 range, but as we will discover Apple do often look for design changes so this could be a minor difference on the new iPhone 13.
