Develop Polished Prospect Presentations
Apple’s Keynote app for the iPad allows you to create presentations and pitchess that will impress prospective clients. In particular, Keynote lets you create professional looking transitions and animations. It is easiest to work in Keynote on a Mac and then import the presentation to your iPad. You can also import existing PowerPoint presentations into your Keynote iPad app and then touch them up. If Keynote’s existing presentation themes don’t work for you, you can easily create your own or purchase them through a site that does. Tablet Rentals will be more than happy to discuss options with you. Alternatively, try using an App such as Haiku Deck, an iPad presentation app, which users can make really stylish and professional slides in a matter of seconds, send these out quickly to Facebook, Twitter and email. On opening the app and creating the first deck, Haiku Deck asks users to enter text for their first slide, add images and adjust the theme and layout of the text. One neat feature of the app is that text will automatically adjust in size, depending on how much has been written. You certainly will not need to worry about ‘death by PowerPoint’.

Present from iPad to iPad
Most individuals have just one iPad and consequently share it with prospective clients when they present information to them. Consider hiring an additional iPad from Tablet Rentals and tethering the two devices, so that you can present from your iPad to the iPad that your prospect or client is holding. This puts you in the driver’s seat and lets your client ride along as you control the flow of information appearing on their iPad. It also makes for a more relaxing presentation environment where you don’t have to lean over to make your point. An iPad App that is designed for this type of presentation is Idea Flight, which connects iPads using a WiFi network.
Differentiate your Firm with a customised App
In order to stand out from their competition, some companies are building their own apps and launching them in the App Store. The apps might be as simple as a portal to push out information or as complex as having a full-blown App to digitally revolutionise their company. As Apps become an increasingly subtle way of marketing, once again, at Tablet Rentals, we feel the key here is to get your brand in front of as many prospective clients as possible. If you also do marketing or conference events, this is a great way to engage prospects and demonstrate that you offer something different than most companies. Tablet Rentals will be more than happy to guide you through an App process and create Apps from design and consultation through to full implementation. We can even provide the iPads for the roll-out of the App. Furthermore, Tablet Rentals provide one-time Events Apps designed for a particular event or conference. We just need you to supply the data and we’ll do the rest!

Data and how to access client data / information from any location
Many iPad users use services such as Dropbox to sync files across all of their computers and devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile phones and their iPad. Having this data in the cloud makes it easy to pull down important documents when you need them and then present them on your iPad. You can also access your mobile CRM programs (RedTail, Junxure) to pull up client information prior to meetings or to consult during meetings. Having access to this on your iPad can be invaluable. To store files, consider using GoodReader. This iPad app also lets you annotate and mark up documents. A word of caution – please check with your IT department to ensure any of these Apps Check meet internal security requirements. Tablet Rentals want to help not get you in trouble! Finally, it could be that some of your existing clients are already using their iPads to access all sorts of information. Therefore, consider giving them access to their account information/ files / project ideas. As mentioned, Tablet Rentals can assist you with getting your own branded iPad app that allows clients to log in and review their account information. This way, clients can stay up to date with any client developments and it allows you to put your firm brand in front of them at the touch of an iPad or other device.
Build your network at Events
Do you use an email service provider to manage your email newsletter? Did you know some of these companies have apps that you can download and use at events to build your network of database? Mailchimp has a Chimpadeedo app to allow people to sign up for your lists at your events and then import them directly into your Mailchimp account. Alternatively, Tablet Rentals offer other data capture solutions which can be vital at an event or exhibition. We’ll be more than happy to discuss those with you and offer a range of event / exhibition stands and accessories.
